Meet Darien + Dave
Darien (AKA "Catherine") climbed over the Berlin wall while it was coming down and still has a piece of it. She really does speak 5 languages. Her smoky, soulful vocals for Catherine DeNuvaring take vintage foreign language tunes and create something brand new.
Dave (AKA "Sven Golly") takes a power chord, surf-punk approach to vintage ye-ye and bossa nova giving Catherine DeNuvaring its uniquely spare, muscular sound. Besides playing electric fuzz uke, Dave mostly arranges the songs, and programs e-drums.
