Bonjour Silly Americans! SF-based Catherine DeNuvaring plays world garage lounge: Vintage trashy tunes from the 1930s-1970s, bashed out hard and loud like punk rock in the original French, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, German, and Italian. NO ENGLISH! We used to go out all the time to see this kind of music, but it was always translated into English. The band we wanted to see didn't exist. So, we became it! Mais oui!

We've also infiltrated radio's "KALX Live!"

Darien (AKA "Catherine") climbed over the Berlin wall while it was coming down and still has a piece of it. She sings in 5 (FIVE) foreign languages, and plays melodica and acoustic percussion.

Dave (AKA "Sven") plays the electric fuzz uke that gives Catherine DeNuvaring its spare, muscular sound. He also adds occasional acoustic percussion, programs e-drums, and arranges most of the songs.
